2002 Summer TV Ad Transcript – 1st District Idaho
It’s simple. Compulsory unionism is wrong. No worker should be forced to pay a union boss just to get or keep a job.
But the Big Labor Bosses don’t agree. Their limousine lifestyles and radical politics are paid for by billions of dollars in forced dues each year.
This forced-dues cash helps elect their handpicked, tax-and-spend politicians, like Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton.
They’ve had an iron grip on Washington, D.C. for decades, and federal law has kept workers powerless to get the union bosses’ hands out of their pockets . . . until now.
President Bush has pledged to end forced unionism nationwide by signing a National Right to Work Act.
Now, it’s important that every member of Congress who believes in ending forced unionism cosponsor this bill at once to show the leadership it’s time to act.
When running for office, Congressman Butch Otter pledged to cosponsor the National Right to Work Act, but he has not yet kept that pledge.
Please call Congressman Otter today and urge him to join with President Bush in the fight against forced unionism by cosponsoring the National Right to Work Act.
