FOR RELEASE: November 27, 2002
It’s simple –- no American should be forced to pay a union boss just to get or keep a job. But the Big Labor bosses don’t agree. And they love the thought of sending back to Washington another Senator who will vote for more forced unionism.
They’re emptying their wallets to fund politicians to join with Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton against worker freedom.
Your Senator, Mary Landrieu, has voted for the radical forced-dues agenda of the union bosses, supporting a bill that would hand all your local police and firefighters over to the union bosses.
This past summer, she also helped Tom Daschle hold up President Bush’s Homeland Security Bill unless union bosses were granted control over National Security employees.
Fortunately, Suzanne Terrell has joined with President Bush in support of a National Right to Work law, and is opposed to union monopoly control of police and firefighters.
But Mary Landrieu has consistently refused to help end forced unionism and has supported union monopoly power over public employees.
Please call Senator Landrieu today and tell her to apologize for her support for the radical agenda of the union bosses. Call her today at 202-224-3121 -- before it’s too late.
