Tucked inside the so-called “Financial Reform” legislation making its way through the Senate is a provision that would give union bosses the power to influence the boardrooms and policies of our nation’s largest companies.
The bill denies states the ability to make rules how corporate boards are established and run and hands the power to the federal government through the SEC. Union bosses are expected to use the provision to affect corporate boards to force pension fund investors to obtain more seats on those boards and that means union pension funds will suddenly have more influence on business simply because of their influence in Washington.
Here’s yet another reason to put a lid on union corruption and their strongarm tactics.

Unions was once useful in America. Now they have outlived their usefulness and become a cesspool for Organized Crime. They rob employees with their dues that appear to go up every year. I think all unions should be banned. We have been fortunate in the South because up to this point we have been able to vote them out. I hope and pray we continue to have this right in the South.
Obama has to be the worst leader of a country since Hitler. Not only that look what the big unions have done to Greece and France isn’t too far behind them. If Americans don’t wake up and stand up for our Constitution we’ll be in the same shape.
This is taking the constitution and shredding it. The unions are not our elected officials and this is all about crime. All the Unions are after is our money. WHY because they are stealing from their union members to buy their next President. They spent billions on Obama and they need to pay their pensions to their retiring workforce but the money isn’t there. Too bad we still are paying into our SS because the crooks (FEDs) have all ready spent that money.
The Teachers Unions have destroyed our schools with the ability to give quality education for a smaller price. Due to the economy budgets have to be cut. Schools are cutting back and part of that is we have to cut teachers. Some of the best teachers have to be cut over the worse teachers, WHY the Unions demand seniority outweighs quality.
SEC only knows how to spend their days viewing porn instead of regulating Fannie May and Freddy Mac and Goldman Sachs along with all the others. In Texas you have a Union official stealing $200,000 from the injured Police Fund. He resigned as president. You think if the Unions took over they would turn in their buddy in Texas? I DON’T THINK so.
Do not take the power away from the states. Small government is easier to manage and monitor. The Feds are bordering on criminal activities because they are in bed with the unions and other crooks and this has to be STOPPED.

Did we make a mistake about Scott Brown of Massachusetts? This guy is making some very peculiar decisions and voting accordingly. I believe he claimed that he was not anybody’s man but his own. I cannot fathom why a so-called conservative would align themselves with the labor unions and why would he support unionizing firemen and policemen? It just makes no sense except that he may be on the take already.
This is absurd. When are Americans going to awaken to what is really going on with these people in power? We need to fully show them that the ‘right to work’ states have some power, too. Unions used to help the employees, but now all they do is bleed people for every dime they can get and try to achieve more power in government. It is time to stop them!
There is nothing surprising here. I’ve been anti union all my life. With Obama placing union thugs like Andy Stern and Craig Becker, in the highest levels of government, we shouldn’t expect anything else. Donations wont help, writing to members of congress wont help and bitching on line about it wont help. The only hope and help available to us is the ballot box. I am afraid that many of “We the people” will be foolish enough to vote incumbents again because so many think their guy is on of the good guys.
This, in my opinion, is not what our country needs. Labor unions want to try and control every aspect of the job market. I can see in the future where more jobs will be outsourced as a result of very high union wages, dues, etc.
The union is killing our country and needs to be pinned back like the BIG government need to be trimmed back. They are combined together to destroy the Constitution. Please give this country back to the people. We the people are not united with this control, corruption and power. Our freedom is dying. PLEASE give out country back

I will not vote for any candidate who gives this type of power to the unions. Our ability to compete worldwide is already at an all-time low.
Public safety workers should have their own option as to whether they want to organize; and if they decide yes, it should be confirmed by SECRET BALLOT. When I dial 9-1-1 I don’t want to hear “they’re on strike”.

- Do you have a fact sheet review of the provisions and a link to the text and review of Financial Reform legislation?
- Will you be asking Congress to agree NOT TO VOTE on such legislation until full text, a review, impact statement on the US debt is disclosed on the internet with time to discuss, digest, advise?
Always do not forget the money that was given to the Democrates for their elections. There is going to be a constant power grabe by these leatches of the Labor movement. They continue to think of their own wellbeing and not the memebers they are to represent . The leaders of the Unions have only one thing in their mind and that is complete control of the economy.
This Country would not be what it is today without the help of unions, but there time has come and gone. They are nothing more than a political, money grubbing tool for people who choose to use other people as rungs on a ladder.
The sad part is too many people swallow and digest this rhetoric, thinking they are making a future for themselves, if they would only realize that they, the employees, are there future. They do not need a leach sucking there life blood to get what they want in this life. Believe in Faith, Hope, Charity and an honest heart. Most empolyers reward that.
Remember the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS NOT AN EMPLOYER it was ment to be an employee of ours (and part time at that).
