Major Steve Godin was my OIC in 1979 and a served a WESPAC tour with him, he was a lieutenant then and displayed fine decision making as he has now. I am a member of the facebook group VMFA-312 that Major Godin served with in 1979 and all are great full for his success in this matter. As I knew him Lt. Godin was an astounding leader and we should be fortunate that he is counselling ROTC that can only benefit our country as he is a role model for all our military officers to project. I do not know how to contact him but, it would be great for him to chime in to the VMFA-312 web site. Sincerely SGT James A Sordillo former Checkerboard.

But if the employers want the Unions to stay out of there Company Busnisses then the Company Owners need to see to it that there Employees are treated with Respect Not Like a dam slave after all the Owner Can not live Without His Or Her Company if they Had no Workers so treat your Employees with Decency they are part of your Companys Familey .

A local hospital corporation is being picketed by a union over the corporation’s decision to use a non-union construction firm that out bid the union firms. These people put up a sign and man the post daily and have at several locations for over a year now. Recently we found that the posts were manned by non union personnel being paid a sub union rate…..what do ya’ know!! The shoe was on the other foot. They are still there, but I don’t know if they are manning the post with union scale personnel.
